About the Denton ISD Council of PTAs
The Denton ISD Council of PTAs is the district-level organization that connects and supports every local PTA across Denton ISD. We serve as the bridge between individual campus PTAs and the broader Texas PTA and National PTA organizations — amplifying the work happening on campuses and advocating for all students across the district.
What we do
We exist to make every child's potential a reality. That means supporting local PTA leaders with training, resources, and community, championing family engagement across every campus, and giving families a unified voice on issues that matter to Denton ISD students.
Whether you're a parent joining a PTA for the first time, a campus leader looking for tools and support, or a community partner who wants to invest in our students — you belong here.
How we're organized
Each campus in Denton ISD has its own local PTA. The Council brings those PTAs together at the district level. We host delegate meetings, coordinate district-wide programs and events, and provide resources that help every local unit thrive — regardless of the size of their school or budget.
